Project Intro:
Shenandoah National Park is located 75 miles from Washington, DC and boasts over 200,000 acres of protected wildlands.

The Problem:
Create an instructional pamphlet for the Shenandoah National Park that is both informative and visually appealing.

Research

I chose to create a pamphlet that includes important park information such as fee's, but with a user-friendly interface. To start, I researched the park to find it's many points of interest and outline any additional important topics such as the hours of operation and monetary fees within the park. Once I had the information I required, I began working on the layout. I also felt it was important to include a basic map with directions from major existing roadways. The thought process behind this is although nearly everyone has access to directions on their phones, seeing just how close they may geologically be to the park may provide the additional incentive needed to visit the park.

The Solution

The final design is aimed at assisting both prospective and current park visitors. My primary objective was to present all the necessary information in a well-organized and comprehensive manner, complemented by relevant images showcasing potential highlights of their visit. I strived to convey information concisely while ensuring its relevance to the reader.
